Ride pages, club pages and group ride alerts
Every club ride gets its own page, every club a proper home, group rides look out for each rider, and the app opens faster.
Ride
- Stop is a press and hold, so a stray tap cannot end your ride.
- GPS warms up as soon as the app opens, so a ride starts from a good fix.
- The recording screen shows your lean angle live from the phone's motion sensors, and the recap keeps your peak lean.
- Rides keep recording with the screen locked on Android, and a ride keeps recording if Stop cannot save it.
- GPS jumps that no vehicle could make are dropped, and climb, descent and highest point are measured more closely.
- Sharper live maps, and haptics and new chimes across the app.
My Rides
- The ride recap shows your fastest 0 to 100 km/h, hardest acceleration, hardest braking, highest point and descent.
Sharing
- A background opacity slider and four new share designs.
Community
- Each club has its own page, with a hosts' note pinned for members, its next rides, its members and its past rides.
- Find clubs by name or city in one search field.
- Share a club's link and QR code, and club links open in the app.
- Club hosts pick co-hosts from the member list, can hand a club over, and can remove members.
- Every member shows in a club's member list, and each can hide their own row.
- The Clubs tab leads with the next rides across your clubs.
- Blocking a host hides their rides from you, and the app says what a block does. You can also report a ride.
Events
- Each club ride opens on its own page in the app, with your registration and QR code, and hosts find their tools there.
- Ride times show in the ride's own time zone everywhere, in emails and calendar files too.
- A ride can approve riders as they register, keep a waitlist when it is full, and share its WhatsApp group with registered riders.
- Start the live group map from the ride's page. Registered riders join it without a code.
- The group map is made for the handlebar: it follows you and alerts the group when a rider stops or flags bike trouble.
- Each rider's battery level shows on the group map, and hosts can set a regroup point and name a lead and a sweep.
- A group ride ends on its own 12 hours after it starts.
- After a ride, its page shows how many came, with a recap of the live map, and hosts can host the next one from there.
- The rides you registered for carry a badge.
- Registration forms get Number and Date questions, remember your answers on the phone and fill in your details.
- The check-in scanner works without signal and finds a rider by name or phone.
- Email riders offers Reminder, Meeting point moved and Cancelled messages, and replies go to the ride's contact email.
Profile
- The version of the app you have shows at the foot of My Profile.
Fixes
- Screens open faster: Community and club pages show at once from the phone, then update.
- Moving between screens feels like a native app on iPhone and Android.
- Registrations close once the ride's day is over.
